Rescue
PMMC rescues and rehabilitates seals and sea lions who have come to shore and are entangled, malnourished, or suffering from infection.
Rehab and Release
Veterinarians at PMMC treat marine mammals for any injuries or infections that required them being brought to the care center. Then, they are nursed back to health and eventually rereleased back into the wild.
Research
Rereleased animals are tagged with an identification number, in order to provide information about that animal to other care centers.
Education
Marine conservation education is provided to a wide range of kids both in person and online, giving both lessons on ocean stewardship and hands-on marine biology experience.
